Holograms

Holograms are created when a laser is illuminated on an actual 3D object or flat artwork. The resulting process of optical interference creates a pattern of fine lines that directly relate to the illuminated object. The scattering of light in a controlled manner and into a rainbow of colors create unique, colorful, 3D images that can be applied onto a wide range of substrates and applications.

OpSec Security’s origination facilities house a full range of holographic capabilities, including traditional transmission 3D, 2D-3D, and stereograms. OpSec’s highly skilled design and technical teams are able to create sophisticated combinations of these processes to produce customized security features on OVDs.

OpSec applies its in-depth knowledge of optical technologies and manufacturing requirements to originate the fine optical fringe structures. The high precision of the origination process is key to ensuring maximum efficiency and product quality in the manufacturing process.
