Pouches

Pouches are an excellent means of protecting photo ID cards. They offer a durable, low-cost alternative to the hard card, yet they still include many of the hard card’s features that prevent tampering and forgery. All OpSec pouch materials are available with a mix of security features including:

• Advantage™ tri-modal images
• IR features and OVD technologies
• full-color UV and OVI printing

Constructed of durable polyethylene-coated polyester laminate, the pouches protect any form of ID document printed on Teslin® or other substrates.

Teslin is a synthetic paper-like material which is very receptive to printing, yet durable enough to withstand the everyday wear and tear the typical ID card takes. OpSec offers both variable data printing and secure preprinting with multi-layered security features that may include micro-printing, guilloche and moiré patterns. Once laminated with OpSec’s secure pouch, this combination offers a highly secure and cost-effective ID credential ideal for central issue applications. OpSec provides a very simple central issuing credentialing system that uses Teslin, laminates, laser printers, and desktop laminators that efficiently produces thousands of cards per day.
