Job Title: BHNS Product Manager
Division: Banknote & High Security
Location: Lancaster, PA
Job Summary
OpSec Security, Inc., the global market leader in anti-counterfeit and product authentication technologies, is seeking an experienced product manager to join our growing team.
This position will support the attainment of the Banknote & High Security US operations commercial objectives, focused on US and Latin & American sales, through the pre-sale, manufacturing and post sales stages.
Responsibilities
Pre –Sale Activity
• Support the US BNHS Sales Team through the consultative sale process
• Support the BNHS US Sales Team through overseeing the preparation of any materials required to secure the sale, e.g. quotations, Powerpoint slide decks etc
• Effectively and efficiently support the opportunities as they arise
• To be the “go to guy” to realise sales opportunities with the sales team
• To ensure all customer requirements and expectations are fully scoped, understood and communicated
Sales Order Management
• To be the recipient of orders from customers via online, fax, phone and mail and ensure orders are correctly entered into the production management system
• Communicates expected lead times, product information, ordering and payment processes and order status to customers
BNHS Representation
• Acts as first point of contact for all queries concerning BNHS within North & Latin America, irrespective of sourcing/manufacturing point
Customer Liaison
• Maintains contact with new and existing customers to obtain production plans and forecasts
• Communicates product information, ordering and payment processes, order status to customers
• Manages any and all customer complaints, ensuring full corrective action has been taken. Communicates outcomes of customer complaint management to appropriate operations management team on an on-going basis
On-going Sales Development
• Identifies sales leads through operational contact with current customers
Post Sale Activity
• Undertake all customer questionnaires/surveys required to monitor customer satisfaction. Report findings of same to appropriate operations & BNHS management team
New Product Development
• Completes requirements document for all new product launches/developments
• Establishes requirements document as the defacto standard for all BNHS products
• Establishes a logical requirements document library
BNHS Protection Programs – Program Management
• Establishes a process to create and maintain requirements documentation and other procedures to ensure cost-effective, high quality and on-time delivery of goods and services
• Establish and communicate accurate actionable forecasts and ensure production compliance with forecast needs
• Ensure order flow and effective support via analyst, interns and/or customer service team
• Work with customers as the key “point person” and OpSec spokesperson for quality issues, product changes and other situations
• Significantly expand the number of BNHS Secure ETag programs managed via requirements documentation
Financials
Undertake any financial analysis including cost analysis, margin analysis, cost comparisons, inventory analysis etc as directed
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish required
• Computer proficiency, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects on a daily basis
• Ability to work independently and anticipate customer projects / needs
• Excellent communicator through the management line and across functional gr
